about me
howdy, i’m beanie. i’m a queer poet who uses they/them pronouns and adores the unconventional things in life. i am an english major with a writing minor and an anthropology minor, and much of my coursework reflects my love for creation, be it film photography, poetry, or creating an artists book. i can usually be found in the gym, crocheting, or running the creative writing club, which i founded in 2021.
i am hoping to pursue a Masters Degree in library science, with the intention to be a teen librarian. growing up, books and the worlds that literature created for me were incredibly influential. my goal is to pass that same passion on to the next generation of readers and inspire creative and critical thinking.
“If music be the food of love, play on / give me excess of it, that, surfeiting / the appetite may sicken and so die / that strain again! it had a dying fall / o it came o’er my ear like the sweet south / that breathes upon a bank of violets / stealing and giving odor!…”
